Norwegian company Rapp opens factory in Gruza
On Thursday, October 9, a new plant of Norwegian and international company Rapp Marine Group was opened in Gruza. This renowned company is a company with a long tradition, dating back to the 19th century, focusing on equipment and technology for the offshore industry. During the official opening ceremony director of our Centre, Marijana Matic, Phd, has acted as the official interpreter. The guests from Norway and Sweden, among which was HIs Excellencz, the Ambassador of Norway to the Republic of Serbia, Nil Ragnar Kamvog had many questions related to the factory, Region of Sumadija and Gruya. Also, they were pleasantly surprised with the fact that, thanks to our director Mrs. Matic who has Phd in English Language and B. A. in Scandinavian languages, they were able to talk in their native language (Swedish and Norwegian) with their colleagues in Serbia. Since there is a great interest for scandinavian languages in our country, we were happy to share this expereince and the impressions of guests about Serbia with our students, especially those who attend courses of Norwegian and Swedish.
