The Cambridge Certificates Presentation Ceremony
On Saturday, 3rd May, the Cambridge Certificates presentation ceremony will be held in the premises of our Centre. The students who worked hard last year and who passed the exams of all levels in the winter term, from the youngest (STARTERS) to the oldest (CAE) will be awarded their rightfully deserved certificates. It is just one step towards success in the lives of these young people, and we are more than proud to be a part of it.
Here’s what one of them has to say about his experience in Patuljak:
Mihailo Milosavljevic, a student of the First Grammar School of Kragujevac, is currently preparing for the regional competition in English:
He spent 3 years at Patuljak and earned 2 internationally recognized certificates of the University of Cambridge – FCE (B1) and CAE (B2).
Mihailo is interested in music and he says: “I started learning the English language through music and cartoons at first. Back then I was just a junior primary school kid. I came to Patuljak when I was seventh grade. I liked it that we did so much more than a regular school programme. Those things were really interesting. I could find out everything I wanted to know. The group consisted of kids with similar interests who demonstrated enviable levels of knowledge. Working with teacher Marijana was very fun, entertaining but first of all very useful…”
Together with his classmates, Mihailo was awarded the B2 and C1 Cambridge certificates. He talks about his experience: “It was a great experience for me and an opportunity for me to prove myself and demonstrate what I know. When I go to university, maybe even abroad, these certificates will mean a lot to me. “
In 2010, Mihailo participated in our programme “Learning in Great Britain”. Mihailo adds how much the stay in England meant to him: “I went to the UK with Patuljak. It was an unforgettable experience. My dreams came true. I’d love to go there again with the same people and teacher Marijana.”
